Parishioners take home Thanksgiving food
The annual market before Thanksgiving drew parish members together. Folks could go home with tasty, fresh vegetables, in addition to some sweet treats for the Thanksgiving table.
We had a special treat with Josephite Father William Norvel here as well. He signed copies of his autobiography that traced his experience as an African-American priest in the Jim Crow South.
And for younger parishioners, a table was prepared with coloring pencils, glue, paper and decorations to make hangings for a Jesse Tree. It is decorated during Advent.
