We, a faith-filled and caring community of culturally diverse, predominantly African-American families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church respond to the call for stewardship to build up God’s church and his people.
Guided and inspired by the Holy Spirit, we seek to be in the West End of Atlanta a beacon of hope through outreach and spreading the Good News of Jesus to all.
Founded in 1903, the parish is one of the oldest in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Our sanctuary dates to the 1920s. Our pastor is Father Victor Galier, who is assisted in spiritual leadership by Deacon Levi Jelks and Deacon Bill Simmons.
